**We are looking for a highly motivated Indirect Procurement Senior Buyer to join our team The Indirect Procurement Buyer plays an integral role by developing and implementing solid sourcing strategies while partnering with stakeholders, anticipates risk, identify key areas of opportunity to drive growth and efficiencies by selecting core suppliers and validating they provide optimal cost, quality and other measurable deliverables.**

**Scope of Responsibility**

**This individual is responsible for sourcing and negotiating a portfolio of goods and services, to meet the requirements of the Hub business stakeholders and Marketing Services Spend Categories while optimizing cost and processes. The individual will also undertake proactive spend analysis and research to identify potential future tactical buying and strategic sourcing opportunities.**

**The Buyer plays an integral role by**:

- ** Performing buying activities (RFP, Analysis, etc.)**
- ** Actively communicating with the business stakeholders to ensure that their purchase requirements are met**
- ** Maintaining an awareness of changing market conditions**
- ** Performing periodic spend analysis to identify opportunities for local projects**
- ** Supporting global projects**
- ** Conducting periodic key stakeholder meetings with business partners to review local spend category strategy and activities**
- ** Leverage supply base opportunities across managed portfolio**
- ** Managing, resolving and communicating on local quality and service issues.**
- ** Prioritizing requests and activities so as to deliver in a timely manner**
- ** Perform all necessary procurement operations activities - order processing, vendor creation and technical issue resolution**
- ** Special projects (as appropriate)**
- ** Achieve Business Simplification**

**Services Procurement Manager EU/AEA**

**Education**

**A minimum of a Bachelor of Arts or Science in Sourcing, Business, Finance, or comparable discipline is required.**

**An advanced degree (MBA) or professional certification is desirable.**

**Fluent English.**

**Experience**

**This individual should have a proven track record of performance with at least **3 or more years of work experience**, preferably in Procurement.**

**Basic understanding of procurement, spend category management and project management methodologies, e-procurement processes and negotiation.**

**High degree of problem solving skills and the ability to drive change with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. SAP experience is desired.**

**Analytical/Decision Making: Has the ability to use spend analytics and industry data to determine the best strategy to meet business requirements and deliver an optimal return on investment (ROI). Makes effective, timely decisions based on data.**

**Communication: Is able to communicate with key stakeholders and management to keep them informed of pertinent business and sourcing strategy and process changes or issues.**
