Junior Financial Controller

Gorgonzola hosts Navigations Air Systems (NAS) domain. The activity of NAS domain: avionics, navigation and radar systems for civil air traffic and technologies supporting the activities of civilian and military pilots, ATC controllers and technicians of several airlines, air traffic control agencies and Air Force around the world. Italy is the Group’s Competence center for the design, production and delivery of Navigation Aids products and Competence Centre for the delivery of non-Radar Surveillance Products.

Job Objective: The Business Controller supports the Business Control Manager in co-ordinating and validating budgets and financial performances relevant to the Business Unit under his/her responsibility scope. He/she operates in strict co-ordination with the Bid&Project Managers and with the Supply Chain & Industry Manager.

Prominent interactions with Bid & Project teams and with the Finance’s other professional families:

- In Italy (in particular Cost Control & Reporting)
- Within the Group (GBU/BL, DEOI, Corporate Finance).
**Key Responsibilities**:In compliance with the group financial and accounting standards and procedures the Business Controller ;
- To follow up and update on sales, invoicing & cash with the PMs
- Prepare and explain cash curve ( consolidated if needed).
- Supervises and validates the estimate at completion of the long term projects ensuring the reliability of financial data;
- Identifies opportunities, risks and misstatements at the appropriate moment, proposes corrective actions and alert when relevant his/her hierarchy of any significant concern
- Analyses the variances between budget, actual and forecast on long term projects and proposes corrective actions**;**:

- Monitors the Supply Chain and Industry indicators and controls the level of stock providing all the required support in the analysis of the slow moving material.
**Skills, Experience and Qualifications**:

- Experience of 3 years in similar positions
- Fluent in Italian and English
- Degree in Economics with good knowledge of International and Italian Accounting Principles.
- Very good knowledge of Oracle ERP as well Office.
