PMO Manager

**Area of responsibility**:

- Leads or leverages cross functional teams to evaluate, develop and manage projects for key business processes.
- Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
- Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
- Monitors the project from initiation through delivery.
- Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
- Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and stakeholders.

**Must Haves**:

- Degree in a Science/Technology/Engineer related discipline with a minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in relevant roles leading projects with a range of complexity, scale, and budget.
- Min 2 years of experience of PMBOK process or equivalent for Project Management.

**Nice to Haves**:

- Ability to work remotely and to travel internationally up to 10% of the time.
- Exhibits a positive leadership mindset.
- Leadership and team building skills to create / guide strong collective cross functional teams in a collaborative work environment.
- Critical thinking Problem Solving expertise with the ability and skills to analyze and solve challenges.
- Ability to manage a range of projects and multi-task working efficiently under pressure.
- Risk Management orientated approach with ability to identify, analyze and respond to risks throughout the lifecycle of projects.
- Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills.
- Project Management PMP Certification or equivalent.
- Project Management Software competency and experience.
- Working Knowledge and experience of Six Sigma & Lean principles.
