**Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026** is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).

Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.

**Position**:
We are looking for an **NOC/NPC Assistants Programme Coordinator **who has experience working in a dynamic, multi-cultural environment preferably in the multi-sport or international events industry.
- Efficiently roster 600+ volunteers for each Game, considering availability, languages, and skills.
- Collaborate in the creation and run of a comprehensive training programme.
- Collaborate and coordinate a retention and loyalty programme to ensure volunteers get to, and remain during the Games.
- Liaise with different functional areas (FAs) to guarantee the programme and volunteers’ needs are met, and resolve and escalate issues when needed.
- Create and manage operational documents such as complex lists, tables, trackers, among others.
- Support the writing of policies, procedures, and other operational documents
- Prepare presentations, progress reports and meeting minutes when necessary.

**Requirements**:
**Skills**:

- Extremely organized and detail-oriented, able to prioritise, deal with complexities and last-minute changes and requests.
- Well-developed problem-solving skills and ability to work independently to resolve issues.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record as a relationship builder with external stakeholders, and the Organizing Committee’s functional areas.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver within deadlines.
- Ability to set up and manage complex databases with little to nonspecific tools.
- Good presentation skills.

Knowledge
- Excellent level of English. Other languages will be considered an advantage.
- Microsoft Office (specially PowerPoint), Teams and Sharepoint. Knowledge of other project management tools will be considered an advantage.
- Strong ties to the Italian culture, and social/volunteering organisations.

Main tasks
- Be the primary point of contact for all the FA’s volunteers, prior and during Games Times.
- Collaborate in the volunteers interviewing and evaluating process for the FA.
- Collaborate in the volunteer allocation process to each Delegation, by utilising their multiculturality skills.
- Collaborate in the rostering process. Keeping each volunteer’s roster up to date and them properly informed about any changes.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree. Master’s and/or Post Graduate courses will be considered as a plus.

Experience
- Experience managing large numbers of staff/volunteers, specially in rostering and training areas.
- Experience in the organisation of major sport events.
