**We're Hiring: a Primary Years Educator, for learners in the 7-9 years age group**

**Start date: March 2024**

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Ensure the duty of care for all children
- Cultivate a sense of community and belonging
- Foster holistic well-being, encompassing physical, social, and emotional health
- Plan interdisciplinary lessons incorporating local experiences
- Implement the Boundless Education Questing framework for authentic learning experiences
- Guide children along personalized learning pathways
- Provide routine updates to parents using technological tools
- Establish goals with children and monitor progress with verbal and written feedback
- Align learned and taught curriculum with the written curriculum
- Maximize educational technology tools for learning
- Lead conferences and collect data for end-of-cohort Growth Trackers

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum three years of full-time classroom experience
- Experience with inquiry-based educational programs and collaborative teams
- Experience with culturally and linguistically diverse learners
- Knowledge of child safety, psychological needs, research-supported instructional techniques, and assessment strategies
