**General Job Function**:

- The Heath Treatment Operator must set up and operate heat treating equipment (Furnace) to complete post-welding thermal treatment and localized thermal treatment. He/She is also responsible of any collateral activity.- L'operatore del trattamento termico deve installare e far funzionare apparecchiature di trattamento termico (Forno) per completare il trattamento termico post-saldatura e il trattamento termico localizzato, nonché di tutte le attività corollari._

**Duties and Responsibilities (in the order of priority)**:

- Furnace or localized equipment Preparation- The HTO prepares furnace or localized thermal treatment equipment for the operations; he/she also conducts prestart up checks.- L’operatore HT prepara il forno o gli impianti di trattamento termico localizzato per le operazioni e conduce controlli prestart up._
- Furnace or localized heat treatment operations- The HTO operates furnace or localized heat treatment equipment to procedure, monitors heating and cooling cycles, adjusts and controls temperatures and heating times by reading temperature instruments and charts, always following project procedures.- L’operato HT gestisce le apparecchiature di trattamento termico del forno o localizzate per la procedura, monitora i cicli di riscaldamento e raffreddamento, regola e controlla le temperature e i tempi di riscaldamento leggendo strumenti e tabelle di temperatura specificate nelle procedure di progetto._
- Heat Treatment Quality- The HTO detects malfunctions of the furnace or localized heat treatment equipment and notifies supervisors.- L’Operatore HT rileva il malfunzionamento del forno o delle apparecchiature di trattamento termico localizzate e ne informa i supervisori.- Post Furnace Operations- The HTO disconnects furnace or localized heat treatment equipment and returns components to the depot.- L’Operatore HT scollega il forno o le apparecchiature di trattamento termico localizzato e riordina i componenti nei luoghi di stoccaggio._
- Handling Material- The HTO moves parts or furnace components into position, manually or with hoists or cranes.- L'operatore HT sposta parti o componenti del forno in posizione, manualmente e con utilizzo di muletto, paranchi o gru._
- Collateral Activities- When not occupied in heat treatment activities, the HTO is involved in general carpentry works.- Qualora non fossero previste attività di trattamento termico, la risorsa verrà impiegata in mansioni generiche di carpenteria._
- Safety Compliance- The HTO complies with company policy standards and procedures e.g. safety, quality, risk, security etc. applicable to the role.- L’Operatore HT rispetta gli standard e le procedure aziendali, ad es. sicurezza, qualità, rischio, sicurezza, ecc. applicabili al ruolo._
