We are looking for a **Coordination of Vehicle Configuration & Digitalization **to join our headquarters at Sant’Agata Bolognese (BO), reporting directly to the **Head of Product Marketing.**
You will be responsible for coordinating the “Vehicle Configuration Team” activities and alignment of data into Commercial Systems for new models/projects or changes. The role involves working with several Business areas in order to ensure the proper product configuration all along the value chain, from vehicle order entry to vehicle production. You will ensure all the systems are updated with a high level of accuracy and reliability. You will also coordinate the setup and updating of the product offer on the company’s car configurator.
Your main activities will be:
- Coordinating the preparation activities of commercial systems and car configurator according to the project timelines dictated by PEP and the product launch plan
- Defining methodologies and operational procedures, taking into account the complexity of interactions and business processes, especially with the Sales, Logistics, and R&D areas
- Collecting, harmonizing and analysing with IT the requests for integration or modification of new features in the vehicle configuration systems, paying attention to the input/output data and processes and to interdependencies with those of other business areas
- Maintaining relationships with external partners and suppliers, ensuring adherence to project methodologies, deliveries according to high quality standards, expected times and costs
- Continuously enhancing knowledge about VW Group systems and data management solution about vehicle configuration
- Managing the budget for 3D model and marketing content development activities for Car Configurator
- Providing active consultancy to the cross-functional teams within the sales & marketing department that are involved in digital projects related dealing with vehicle configuration data
**About you**
- University Degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
- 6 years’ experience in Automotive in Marketing / Team-management / Data management / Sales processes
- Experience in people management/coordination
- Knowledge of Data management/systems
- Project management
- Fluent English, Italian and German will be considered a plus
