This is a fast-paced, start-up environment where creative problem solving, operational excellence, and building relationships are the core of our day-to-day work.

As a Regional Program Specialist in Udine, you will work backwards from the needs of the community to design innovative, scalable solutions that build goodwill and improve operational excellence. You are comfortable working in an ambiguous environment and excel at building and improving existing processes. You will contribute to the design and implementation of local strategy plans. This role is highly visible within Amazon and provides opportunity to influence thinking across multiple teams and businesses.

Key job responsibilities
Drive operational excellence by auditing Amazon’s sites for community impact and working with stakeholders to identify and implement solutions.

Design and execute projects that drive positive engagement between communities and Amazon.

Partner with local Amazon Operations leadership to gather feedback from internal and external stakeholders and assess the net-impact our operations have on our communities.

Improve delivery station processes and activities while acting as the voice of the community with site and regional leadership.

Collaborate with leadership to identify the root cause of community feedback and coordinate consequential operational changes.

Coordinate and participate in regional community outreach events and activities as directed by your leadership.

Partner with cross-functional teams to identify holistic solutions to complex challenges.

Drive implementation and adoption of programs and processes intended to create connections between internal community members.

This is a field role and requires regular travel to operations sites and communities within your geographic area for day-to-day activities, and may require 20% domestic travel.

Ability to identify, analyze, and solve ambiguous problems to make business decisions using relevant data and insights.

Ability to develop new ideas and creative solutions with community interests as a focal point.

Experience in multi-level communication and influencing both verbally and in writing.

Ability to influence and improve results laterally and remotely through cross-functional colleagues.

Experience in operations, customer service, community or public relations, government, or public policy.

Experience building and managing relationships with external stakeholders.
