Manufacturing Documentation Operator

The Manufacturing Documentation & Technical Documentation Center Maintenance Operator (MD & TDCM Operator) manages the definition of the materials and product BOMs, manufacturing documentation, product configurations with diligence and responsibility, and works to support the various departments of the company. The position reports directly to the MD & TDCM manager and interacts with various departments, primarily with R&D, product management, quality, test engineering, logistics, operations and customer support.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manages and collects materials encoding requests, materials datasheets and relevant logistic data to encode them in the system (SAP)
- Provides information to encode the products part list (BOMs) into the SAP system using the data received from the R&D-CAE, complying with the project leader’s requirements
- Works strictly with the R&D team, analyzes drawings, specifications and product samples and develops, reviews and maintains the assessment manuals and the construction documentations including manuals, packaging and assembly instructions
- Draws sketches to illustrate specified materials or assembly sequence, label layouts and packaging layouts
- Supports R&D in developing and printing custom prototypes labels
- Manages the encode documents in the system and their storage in DocCenter intranet web site
- Prepares the construction documentation packages of the products for the production sites
- Arranges for publishing, sharing and maintaining the technical documentations in the intranet web site, both to corporate (Telit) and external (contract manufacturers) users
- Drives the “Change Management proposal Board”, also supports the applicant in collecting the necessary data to fill in the Change Proposal forms

**Requirements**:

- Knowledge of the ISO 9001 standards about the management of documentation within the company
- Good command of the English language
- Good technical experience
- Goal and detailed oriented
- Good documentation and technical writing experience, deep knowledge of informatics instruments used to develop the documents
- Deep use of appropriate software (Office Word-Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Corel Draw, web publishing, CAD design, SAP System, Database management)
