The role requires a deep involvement in the execution of transactions including investments, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and mergers from early stages of the process to completion and post completion
- The M&A specialist must be a team player, with natural ability to coordinate with business leaders and experts, engage with all stakeholders,
- The role will involve the development of development of strategic playbooks aligned with strategic priorities and support the cultivation and sourcing process for investment opportunities through research and analysis

**Individual accountabilities**
- **Strategic analysis**:development of “make or buy” analyses, with review of several options to achieve strategic goals
- **New project sourcing**:responsibility for detailed development of investment cases for potential new M&A and corporate development projects
- **Project execution**: responsibility for coordination of internal/external DD teams (including advisers), oversee creation of financial (valuation) modelling, project management materials and transaction documents
- **Post-Merger Integration**: during execution, the M&A specialist is responsible for developing a strong foundation for a successful PMI, coordinating closely with the PMI specialist in the M&A team
- **Stakeholder management**: responsibility for developing detailed on progress of cases and overall M&A strategy reporting to GEC, M&A Committee and other stakeholders

**Shared accountabilities**
- Achieve closing of ca. 3 -5 M&A transactions per year
- Successful Post -Merger Integration
