Guided by a global and local strategy, Qair tailors solutions to each territory and offers customized financial packages to local authorities and industrialists.

Established in 2019, Qair Italia is a part of the French Group Qair. As an Independent Power Producer (IPP), Qair Italia is actively involved in large-scale renewable energy development, including wind farms, photovoltaic, and hydrogen plants throughout Italy. With a competent and professional team, Qair Italia has over 1.5 GW in the authorization process, with the first construction slated for 2023. The objective is to have 500 MW in operation by 2025.

To support this rapid growth, Qair Italia is recruiting a Financial Controller to work at our office in Potenza, Italy.

Mission

Under the responsibility of the CFO, the employee’s main duties will be:

- Perform financial and analytical accounting.
- Participate in budgeting processes.
- Prepare financial reports.
- Manage the administration of active service contracts.
- Oversee cash movements.
- Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies.
- Perform month-end and year-end close processes.
- Gather and monitor financial data.
- Support the preparation of annual financial statements (balance sheets and income statements).
- Assist CFO in various duties, including project financing or Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) activities.

Profile
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
- Previous professional working experience in an audit or finance role, preferably in the renewable or other energy sectors.
- Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in main Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) - Knowledge of Sage X3 is an asset.
- Flexibility to travel.
- Bilingual in Italian, with a high level of English communication. (French will be a plus).
- Exceptional abilities in problem-solving.
- Strong initiative as a team player.
- Willingness to learn and improve.
