Junior Reporting Analyst

Position Overview

Bakelite Synthetics is looking for a Junior Reporting Analyst located at our Solbiate Olona Site. Coordinated by the Reporting Senior Analyst, this position supports the Reporting & Consolidation Leader to execute closing activities ,to prepare reporting and to consolidate plans.

**Essential Functions**:

- Execute specific tasks in closing
- Preparation of Intercompany services allocations
- Calculation of Capitalized Variances
- Preparation of other Journal Voucher to reflect adjustment in P&L
- Support the preparation of:

- Monthly Reporting Cycle deliverables monthly Board update, and Management Financial Package
- Quarterly Presentations to Management and Board of Directors
- Forecast and Budget Presentations
- Perform financial/business analysis related to actual results vs Budget / Latest Estimate (Forecasts) / Prior year.
- Perform Ad Hoc Reporting and Analysis as requested
- Corporate spending Analysis

The position under the guidance of the Reporting Senior Analyst, cooperates with the Reporting & Consolidation Leader and support CFO and VP FP&A for specific requests and analysis.

**Knowledge, Education, Skills & Qualifications**:

- Accounting and/or Finance Degree
- 1-2 years experience in financial reporting area
- English language proficiency
- Excellent Analytical skills, ability to read and translate data into information
- Must be trustworthy with confidential information
- Team player interact effectively with cross functional teams
- Proactive and well organized
- Consistently meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment
- Advanced Microsoft Excel modeling capabilities (Filters, Pivots, Formulas, Graphs, Calculated Fields);
- Experience with SAP R/3 preferred
- Experience with Consolidation tool preferred
