Reports to: Transport Manager

As Transport Coordinator, you will be responsible for monitoring and coordinating on-time shipment and delivery of items for optimum service and efficiency. In this role, you must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while providing the highest quality of customer service to both internal and external parties. This is a busy and hands on role where you will really utilise your skills.

This position is open to people of all genders (Law 903/77).

**How can you help us?**
- Coordinate and communicate with freight forwarders, customer service and warehouse admin teams.
- Monitor and ensure on-time delivery of items.
- Oversee and coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, taking into account internal operational processes.
- Check and issue Invoices on request.
- Track shipments for customer service, and document and communicate any shipment changes.
- Ensure all deliveries and pick-up orders are done efficiently.
- Respond to client feedback or complaints.
- Create and maintain a transport management system for users.
- Create and analyse internal statistics on key figures relevant to transportation services.
- Assist the Transportation Manager to enhance existing shipping structures.
- Offer advice to the Transportation Manager on all transportation related issues
- Ensure adherence to all security and operational procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

**Are you our match?**:

- At least 3 years of experience in the areas of transportation and/or shipping and logistics, preferably in a high-volume logistics environment.
- Customer focused with an ability to resolve customer service queries in a timely manner.
- Good knowledge of transportation practices, haulage scheduling and export regulations.
- Ability to establish effective working relationships with a diverse range of both internal and external contacts.
- Basic understanding of statistical analysis.
- Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
- Good planning and organisation skills and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Independent and result-oriented.
