**Role Description**

C&M maintains and delivers calculation methods and computer programs for the computer simulation of lead-cooled fast reactors, as well as for the fabrication of mixed-oxide nuclear fuel. The group operates in the areas of reactor physics, transport theory and neutronics, reactor thermal-hydraulics and heat transfer, two-phase flow, and instrumentation physics. C&M is involved in many research programs and international collaborations. Administrative support of all research collaborations undertaken with external parties at newcleo is among C&M’s functions. C&M organizes annual student internship campaigns at newcleo, collecting and distributing offers from the staff to undergraduate and PhD students. The Assistant will keep track of the ongoing internships facilitating the communication between newcleo’s Human Resources and the university’s job placement office.

**Main Activities**
- Exhibit uncompromising commitment to the development of research collaborations between newcleo and academic partners.
- Assist the R&D Manager with the coordination of Academic Affairs.
- Maintain calendars, schedule meetings, prepare events and activities.
- Pay attention to detail and complete tasks according to deadlines.
- Maintain and distribute regular and confidential documents.
- Assist with maintaining budget.
- Continue professional development for the improvement of the programs in order to meet newcleo’s needs.
- Assist HR when onboarding internship students by interfacing with universities and academic institutions.

**Desired Qualifications**
- Master Degree in Foreign Languages and Literature,International Relations and Global Affairs.
- Fluent English, Italian and French.
- Show a systematic mindset when approaching new tasks.
- Associate degree in a field appropriate for the position.
- Demonstrated skills in communication and negotiation.
- Prior experience in academic or educational environment is a plus.
