The International School of Monza is seeking to appoint a Teacher of IB PYP & MYP Drama, with IB MYP English Language Acquisition, to join us in September 2023 on a full-time contract.

THE POSITION

We have an opening for a Teacher of IB PYP & MYP Drama, with IB MYP English Language Acquisition, to join us in September 2023 on a full-time, permanent, contract. We envisage the position involving the teaching of Drama to students aged 6-16, as well as some very small English Language Acquisition classes for students aged 11-14.

In terms of facilitates, Drama for all ages is taught in a dedicated drama studio and also makes extensive use of our newly created theatre space, which is fitted with a stage and with professional audio-visual equipment.

Our school is made up of a strong team of professionals who have built a uniquely collaborative environment. As such, we expect our new colleague to be committed to such an approach, as well as to high standards and a desire to ensure an excellent profile for the programmes they teach both within and beyond our school community.

ESSENTIAL CHARACTERISTICS
- to have had recent experience teaching students aged between 6 and 16;
- to be fluent in English;
- to be an EU passport holder or already be in possession of a valid visa that enables to work in Italy.

HOW TO APPLY

The person appointed will be expected to begin work in late August 2023, before which date a criminal records check and social media background check will need to be completed as part of our safer recruitment and child safeguarding policies.
