Position Overview:
At Allegion we spend hundreds of millions of dollars with supplier partners every year. We buy raw materials, fabricated components, sub-assemblies, finished products, indirect material, professional services and other items needed to support the day to day operations of a S&P 500 Company. Our Supply Management team ensures we have strong and creative relationships with internal stakeholders and the right supplier partners, so that Allegion can get the best value and continue to invest in its great new products and customer relationships.

Working within Allegion’s Supply Management team, you will be responsible for supporting procurement activities which includes educating our suppliers on our ever
- changing needs and providing purchasing consulting to our internal customers. Utilizing our operating system and processes, you will perform activities at various stages of the strategic sourcing process aimed at sustaining supply of products & services, improving customer loyalty; and enabling growth in both revenue and profitability.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for Productivity and Inflation target achievement and for supplier performances (Price, Quality, Service) for the categories under his/her responsibility.
- Develop and manage supplier relationships, project portfolios and undertake supplier negotiations through relationship-building to maximize business benefits.
- Prepare and conduct solicitations (RFI’s, RFQ’s) for and execute against high-dollar, high-risk, complex needs to support the sourcing strategy.
- Identify opportunities for increased competitive bidding, smarter supplier relationships and more efficient supply chain processes.
- Pro-actively conduct market analysis / benchmarking, track market trends and emerging technologies, and manage supplier performance.
- Collaborate with the wider supply management team to initiate, implement, and support sourcing activities that deliver best value.
- Provide customer support to manufacturing & distribution sites related to quality and delivery issues, forecasting, payment issues and other items as needed.

Qualifications:

- BS/BA with a strong academic record preferred.
- At least 5 years of work experience preferred.
- Prior experience in procurement/supplier management at a global public company.
- English Fluent with conversation and writing.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft office package.
