**Position Snapshot**:

- Nestlé Purina, Portogruaro plant (VE)
- Temporary 1 year contract
- Passion about packaging & production
- Previous short experience is appreciated
- Fluent in English and Italian

**Position Summary**

In this role you will provide expertise and support to the factories in line with Zone and Business priorities in roder to introduce New packaging or renovate & customise it, and also to drive identification and implementation of best practices and support documentation and deploy Manufacturing Standards.

**A Day in the Life of a Packaging Junior Specialist**
- Leads deployment of new packaging and technologies
- Leads Renovation and Customisation projects (including renovation for cost improvement or sustainability reasons)
- Performs or supports Packaging Materials Harmonization initiatives (Simplex)
- Ensures deployment of standards to factories according to plan in collaboration with local teams
- Collects feedback from factories to be provided regarding standard effectiveness (adherence and results)
- Identifies opportunities for standardisation in the factories
- Ensure the implementation of filling & packing best practices in the category specific factories of the zone and share / promote them among the category community
- Performs packaging material and equipment competency building training

**What will make you successful**
- Degree in Packaging, Process Engineering, Production or Food Engineering
- Passion about packaging & production
- Previous short experience is appreciated
- Fluent in English and Italian
- Strong relational and communication skills
