PYP PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHER required for August 2023.

The ability to speak Italian is not essential, but the desire to learn Italian is encouraged. Our international teachers must speak and model excellent standards of English and have the desire to change the world through education,

We teach the Italian curriculum through the IB Primary Years Programme. While experience in the PYP is desirable, we want teachers who believe in the value of an inquiry approach and will give the necessary PYP training.

Bilingual European School is an IB World School, based in Milan. In addition to innovative grounds designed by the renowned architect, Rosan Bosch, our school is part of Avanguardie Educative, (Italy’s Association of innovative schools) and is also a Harvard Project Zero school.
- Have excellent levels of spoken and written English
- Possess a strong belief in the inquiry approach to learning
- Show an understanding of (or be willing to embrace) the PYP philosophy, principles and practices
- Have the skills and experience to ensure excellent educational progress for second language learners
- Be flexible, cooperative and tolerant to different cultures, beliefs and viewpoints
- Have strong classroom management skills, enabling a safe environment where students can take risks, feel cared for and enjoy their life in school
- Want to make a difference by creating global citizens who can shape the world
