**Role Overview**
**We are looking for**:
- Solvay Specialty Polymer Italy is looking for a highly motivated chemist, chemical engineer or material science engineer with a good knowledge of polymers, melt processing (extrusion and compounding). Project management and the ability to combine the excellence of the technical content of his/her work with efficient time management and communication skills are also required.
**We count on you for**:
The main responsibilities can be summarized as follow:
- Coordinate and execute project activities leveraging on Application Development resources (extrusion, compounding, testing, prototyping, analytical labs etc) and external partners;
- Ensures proper communication during project (planning) and timely delivery of results with all relevant stakeholders;
- Coordinate final project delivery: presentation for the Frontline teams;
- Extended communication of findings with Application Development Labs community to allow replication;
- This activity requires close collaboration with Research and Development group, Customer Technical Development Engineers, Market and Sales Managers.
**You will bring**:
- A solid knowledge at University level of material science, chemistry or chemical/mechanical engineering.
- Solid experience in the typical processing technologies used in these industries (i.e. filaments, pipes, sheets and W&C extrusion) is a must.

**Additional Information**:
