**BAT IS LOOKING FOR AN EUROPE LOGISTIC PROJECT MANAGER**

**JOB TYPE**:Fixed term (30 June 2024)

**Role summary**
- Europe is leading New Categories Growth in BAT, VUSE, Velo and Glo, is pioneering MoDi with rapid roll-out; also have strong revenue in FMC being reinvested in New Categories. Europe Logistics plays a pivotal role on BAT strategy enabling a fast transformation. - This strategy has constant optimising our manufacturing footprint, our warehouse network, Logistics becoming key enabler for this strategy. The person on this role will look at relevant projects happening in Europe, including footprint optimisation, open and closing warehouses, setting up the operation, process, people, system and acting as reference for project management in Logistics.

**What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?**
- Leadership of the centralized project management, responsible for the overall project management and team coordination within Logistic in Europe.
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects concurrently, adhering to timelines and ensuring all established achievements are met
- Ensure project management methodology is rigorously followed.
- Optimally follow project financial controls.
- Schedule and lead project review meetings providing regular progress reports to all key partners and senior leadership
- Develop and lead steering committees for large projects
- Identify and resolve issues that place projects or supply chain at risk
- Work collaboratively with cross functional teams to continuously improve business processes
- Support minor projects with guidance, methodology coaching others
- Demonstrate our project knowledge database as part of our CoE strategy

- This role is part of the Regional Logistics Leadership team and is key part of the global field forming a vital part in connecting the local, regional and global teams in balancing service, effectiveness and efficiency requirements of the team.

Regular visit to sites 10-20%

**Accountabilities**
- Responsible for overall quality and predictability of the project/ program.
- Responsible for documentation management.
- Identify and propose opportunities for Responsiveness
- Work with Warehouse and Transportation teams to ensure systems are setup accurately, a detailed startup
- Close follow up of licenses
- Work with tax team on incentives
- Lead lessons learning at the end of the projects and share globally
- Ensuring all project delivering new locations operate to the business defined standards and controls, including EHS, TPD, SOX, Inventory Management Policy.

**Experience, skills, knowledge**

**ESSENTIAL**

**Experience Required**
- Proven experience dealing with project management within Logistics and systems integration.
- Ability to deal with senior partners from different areas in the organisation, manging multiple contacts across.
- Strong previous experience Logistics Project Management, preferable setting new sites and closing others
- Understand 3PLs operation and integration with Logistics process

**Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required**
- Active fast learner with ability to engage people to accelerate problem solving
- Innovation attitude, ability to match customer insights with supply chain and technology insights for problem solving
- Critical Thinking, fact oriented, Data Analytics skills, strong abilities with Excel and Power BI
- Reasoning, problem solving capabilities, including knowledge of methodologies 5W2H, 5why’s, Design Thinking
- Financial oriented skills to build argument, demonstrate benefits, losses
- High mobility across Europe, potential travels around 10-20%
- Behaviour alignment with BAT Ethos
