In order to strengthen our engineering team, we are looking to hire a **Sensors & Application Engineering Specialist**, based in Maranello (Italy).

As part of the team, you will be responsible of:

- Development, optimization & integration of novel sensing strategies at vehicle level.
- Optimization in terms of performance and/or cost of existing solutions.
- Collection requirements from the other R&D departments and provide solutions within the project’s constraints in terms of cost & schedule.
- Supporting the HW & SW development and debug of components featuring complex electronic sub-systems

In order to succeed in this challenging role, you will ideally have achieved excellent academic results with a Master-degree or PhD in Electronic, Computer Science or Automation Engineering or equivalent. And you will have gained at least 5 years’ dedicated experience on the design, development and debug of mixed signal electronics.

Embedded systems, communication busses, FW development (c, C++) knowledge is mandatory to manage the activities. Familiar with laboratory equipment and test automation (LabVIEW, Python) is important for the role.

Strong technical project management skills, decision making and accountability are essential to manage the activities and work transversally within the organization.

In Ferrari you must exhibit the capability to work in a highly-dynamic and fast-changing environment, thinking analytically, including attention to details and critical thinking ability. It is important to be proactive proposing new solutions to optimize all the processes and activities.

Fluent English is required for the position and Italian language skills are an advantage. We appreciate individuals with experience outside their country of origin, allowing for a multicultural mindset.
