- For our project start-up team based in Rome and focused on projects in Saudi Arabia, we are looking for a
**Plant & Equipment Manager**.

**Responsibilities**:

- Managing a team of product specialists who have the task of defining the characteristics and/or technical/technological specifications of the earthmoving machinery, and of all components and relevant systems, to guarantee the correct technical support to projects in Saudi Arabia; responsible for optimizing existing fleets, for correctly choosing the most suitable machines for carrying out the activities needed to achieve the project's production goals, in compliance with economic targets. Defining the technical interventions to be carried out on the machinery/components, to solve any issues, while also concomitantly interfacing with the Supplier and the construction site.
- During the project's start-up phase, verifying the budget of the earthmoving machinery to submit to the Project Manager for approval, and defining the technical specifications of the machinery/equipment to purchase. Supporting the Procurement department to identify the Vendor list of suppliers to involve in a tender, and technically assessing the offers received, in order to select the supplier. Verifying product development at the supplier's plant, and responsibility for Testing and FAT (Final Acceptance Test) of the purchased and/or modified machinery/equipment.
- During the execution of the order technical assistance, carrying out interventions at the construction site for analysing and solving any technical-operational problems; researching and developing new technologies and innovative solutions in collaboration with the sector's major manufacturers.
- Preparing the earthmoving machinery regulations, as part of the finalization of the corporate agreements regarding Operational Units where Shareholders have a stake, while also coordinating with the Project's Project Manager, being supported by the AFC Manager, the Area Manager/Coordinator and the relevant Area Controller, while also defining the rules regarding shareholder related machinery topics.
- With regard to the Operational Units, in which Shareholders are involved, participating in the machinery committees to validate the value of the earth-moving machinery, in compliance with the approved regulation, while also specifying the technical requirements to consider in the procurement process and carrying out the related technical-economic assessments.

**Requirements**:

- MsC in Mechanical Engineering or a similar degree;
- +10 years of professional experience in the earthmoving machinery field, gained in structured and international organizational contexts;
- Capable of reading technical drawings;
- Knowledge of the machinery, equipment and plants used in the construction sector;
- Knowledge of the methods for starting, operating, disposing, and of the applicable regulations and maintenance;
- Available to travel and stay at construction and joint venture sites in Saudi Arabia;
- Fluent written and spoken English.
