The role as regulatory affair ensures and maintains compliance of the products to the national and international legal requirements, acting as an intermediary between the needs of the different functions and the authorities.
The Regulatory function, combining its knowledge of scientific, legal and business issues ensures that products are licensed, labelled, claimed and promoted in compliance with appropriate legislation.
**Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Support the evaluation of current and new products for compliance with applicable regulations (labelling, ingredients, claims) of the country where marketing wants to distribute them with a global approach.
- Support the compliance of the labels to the regulatory requirements, overseeing the approval flow.
- Collaborate with colleagues involved in new products development (R&D, Mktg); assist in the guarantee that the regulation is fully followed and that the information is interpreted correctly.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Trade Marketing, Customer Service, Purchasing and QA in the process of replying to requests (technical documentation/information) from customers, importer, and consumers to guarantee the market entry of the product and its permanence.
- Assist in the development and write clear, comprehensible, completed documentation and product information to share with stakeholders.
- Study scientific and legal documents; keep up to date with changes in regulatory legislation and guidelines.
- Provide to gather, evaluate, organize and collect information both internal and external to deliver answers and solutions in due time.
**Requirements**:
- Master’s degree (Chemicaland Pharmaceutical Technologies, Biotechnology, Food technology, Law)
- Interesting in Food & Beverage industries
- Analytical abilities and attention to details
- Communication abilities
- Team working skills and the ability to involve and motivate others
- Problem solving abilities
- Abilities to work in a high paced environment with clear deadline
- IT skills (office) and digital agility skills
- Fluent in English
