The Davines Group, founded in Parma in 1983, specializes in professional cosmetic products under the brands Davines for haircare and [ comfort zone ] for skincare. **Supply Chain Internship**:
JOB MISSION
As a Supply Chain Intern for Davines North America, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of the supply chain process within our organization. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals, contributing to the optimization of our supply chain operations while developing valuable skills and knowledge in a dynamic and international business environment.
DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSABILITIES
Update inventory documentation for the entire company to reference on a daily basis.
Support in identifying and resolve inventory discrepancies coordinating with 3PL partner and Client Relations department.
Collaborate with production planning and logistics departments in Italy to ensure products availability and efficient transportation of goods from Italy to US warehouse.
Contribute to the optimization of the North American Supply Chain, by helping coordinate the activities of our 3PL warehouse, providing accurate documentation and ensuring a timely completion of tasks.
Assist with monthly sales forecasting of 1000+ SKUs and the maintenance of a state-of-the-art MRP configuration and settings.
Support the purchasing process by overseeing that logistics and inventory guidelines are followed.
Assist in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data related to inventory levels, production schedules, and supplier performance.
Generate reports to provide insights into supply chain efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
PERSON SPECIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Management Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required. The knowledge of other analytical tools is a plus.
Strong attention to detail, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Ability to follow instructions and multitask between daily responsibilities and time-sensitive requests.
Enthusiasm for learning and a strong desire to gain practical experience in supply chain management.
Excellent oral and written communications skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Proficiency in English is a must.
