Within our **Procurement & Supply Chain** department, we are seeking an experienced buyer of land experiences and tours. You will play a significant role in shaping our company's success by collaborating closely with operations and product teams. Your responsibilities will include maintaining existing contracts while leading the development of innovative routes aligned with Costa's distinctive positioning and business objectives.

**How you’ll live your ambition**:
As a **Land Experience Buyer** based in our **Genoa** offices, you'll lead the sourcing of shore excursions, ground services, and Meet & Greet services to fulfill the needs of Costa and Carnival Corporation. Your expertise in business matters and contract management will be crucial for analyzing and evaluating suppliers, identifying value opportunities, and promoting innovative purchasing methodologies. Collaborating with colleagues from Guest Experience and Onboard Sales Operations, you'll contribute to enhancing quality and reshaping the landscape of the cruise industry.
- Demonstrate your passion_
- In assigned locations, you will identify local operators offering the best balance of cost-effectiveness and quality standards through regular competitive bidding processes.
- You will proactively manage contract renewals and extensions for designated destinations, leveraging your keen analytical skills to identify strategic opportunities.
- Driving cost optimization through shrewd negotiation tactics, you’ll secure the best terms while upholding our standards of quality and service.
- Foster dynamic partnerships with local operators in your assigned areas, developing your commercial acumen to enhance operational efficiency and elevate guest experiences to new heights.
- Get things right_
- You will ensure the accuracy and currency of the Shoreside Services database (TOG_Argo) by meticulously updating all contract details and associated costs.
- Lead the field by consistently evaluating supplier markets, seeking out alternative supply channels, uncovering value propositions, and implementing cutting-edge purchasing strategies and systems.

**What makes you unique**
- You have had similar previous experiences - at least 4/5 years - within leisure and tourism sector (tour operator, travel agency, hospitality fields are more than welcomed).
- You approach decision-making with a data-driven mindset is strengthen by academic backgrounds in Economics, Engineering Management, Mathematics/Statistics, or related fields.
- You are highly skilled in MS Excel and fluent in English.
- Your positive attitude toward continuous improvement enables your team and colleagues to meet market challenges and strengthen relationships with various stakeholders, sustained by a heartfelt spirit of collaboration.
- Every day you will contribute to enhancing excellence through optimal control and planning of products, taking care of their quality and efficiency painstakingly.
- You have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
