We are looking for an Assistant Sommelier for the next season (spring 2024) to join our Restaurant team.

Reports to Head Sommelier.

**Main duties & responsibilities**:

- Anticipate guests needs and handle guest complaints, providing an excellent and personalized guest experience according to our service standards
- Support the Sommelier in develop special events about wine
- Inventory and requisitions: assist in monitoring stock levels and ordering replacement deliveries
- Avoid any waste and capable to control beverage margins
- Cooperate with the bar manager to establish the wine selection to use

**Requirements**:
**Competencies required**:

- Fluent in English and Italian;
- Previous professional experience within the same role in a luxury environment
- Passion for service and ambition to grow professionally
- HACCP certification

**Other requirements**:

- Effective communication, emotional intelligence, adaptability
- Collaboration: be able and willing to work as a team player
- Drive results: provide genuine and consistent high levels of service by anticipating and exceeding expectations of guests and colleagues
- Global perspective: treat each other with respect and inclusiveness regardless of position, level or background
- HACCP certification

- Start date: March 2024 to End date: January 2025, with the aim of a continuous collaboration over subsequent seasons at Splendido Mare and a career path.
- Salary as by CCNL + increase based on seniorirty and skill level, separate payslip for 13°,14° and TFR
