Overview

EOSS, a company of the Prysmian Group, brings innovation to the energy industry. We add electronics & photonics to electrical assets in order to get deep information on asset conditions. The Pry-Cam technologies are helping our customers increase uptime, asset longevity and safety, while reducing maintenance costs and risks. Our growth objectives are ambitious and we are looking to reinforce our team to support this effort

Your job will mainly consist in supporting the business from a project management standpoint, as detailed in the following sections.

Purpose

To plan, prepare, execute and finalize the projects in accordance with the customers contractual terms and specifications, within the agreed timeperiod and budget. This includes coordinating with the Production, Purchasing, Logistics and IT departments as well as any third-party contractors.

The Project Manager is also responsible for creating clear project objectives, building the project requirements and managing the constraints: scope, schedule, cost and quality. Also, it will be part of your job: creating engineering documents (reports, drawings etc) which show how the Pry-Cam monitoring solution will be built, installed and commissioned, join/organize conference call on the monitoring topics, inspect the sites and obtain relevant authorizations/permits (if any) etc

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities listed below are not exhaustive. The job holder may be asked by his Manager and by the Management to undertake further reasonable duties associated with this function.

You will be the focal point for all project activities and retains the final responsibility for the execution of the Project. You will represent the Company towards the Client and resolve all issues related to the implementation of the Project activities.

You will:

- manage all aspects of Pry-Cam projects from inception through completion
- prepare the projects documentation (project book, List of Requirements, Bill of Material, drawings, etc) in accordance with the Company operating procedures and specific client/contract requirements (if any)
- ensure the development and the revision of the above documents, monitor the progress of the project phases, in accordance with the scheduled times and the cost and quality estimates and objectives
- manage and engage the stakeholders of the project, after having aligned with the Hiring Manager
- monitor the costs against the budget, identify and implement remedial actions in case of overrun
- report to the Hiring Manager the results on a regular basis
- ensure that the level of performance is in accordance with the Contract specifications, that the costs fall within the estimate limits, and that the execution time of the project phases progress as set down in the contract
- initiate and review engineering design, procurement, manufacturing/ production operations and field activity to ensure compliance with project specifications
- manage with the support of the Hiring Manager all contract negotiations with the Client, including additional work and variation orders
- undertake any necessary actions with the Client with regard to payments in the event of disputes or anomalous delays
- optimize completion of deliverables
- deliver utmost customer satisfaction
- manage project through the overall life cycle
- produces a project close-out report containing all significant information for future use by EOSS
- actively support the needs of all PRY-CAM projects in the region
- fill in the projects database shared between all the EOSS Project Managers, according to the rules that you will be trained on

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Basic knowledge of Partial Discharge (PD) and optics (Distributed Temperature Sensing, Real Time Thermal Rating, Distributed Strain Sensing and Distributed Acoustic Sensing) monitoring technologies of electrical assets is recommended.

Good knowledge of the project management tools and techniques.

At least 5 years long experience as PM or PMO is needed. A PM certification (e.g. PMP is considered a plus).

Contacts and preferred relationships with utilities (IOU’s, Public Power, Cooperatives), Renewables (onshore wind, solar plant developers and contractors),
