**ABOUT US**

**YOUR TEAM**

You will be working in a multicultural and multi-disciplinary group, where physicists, chemists, engineers, material scientists, biotechnologists and biologists collaborate, each with their expertise, to carry out a scientific activity with a shared research goal.

The Advanced Materials for Sustainable Future Technologies Research Unit is coordinated by Prof. Fabrizio Pirri, who has extensive experience in technologies for the energetic transition.

Your main responsibilities will be:

- Selection and degradation of biomasses to fundamentals components using green chemistry
- Optimization of synthesis of solvents and ionic liquids
- Studies of chemical-physical characteristics
- This open position is financed by _“Fondo per la ricerca di sistema elettrico nell’ambito dei bandi di gara per la selezione dei progetti di ricerca di cui all’art. 10, comma 2, del decreto 26 gennaio 2000” - Codice Progetto CSEAA_00010, project “ORgANics for Green Electrochemical Energy Storage” [ORANGEES], CUP J13C22000730001.

**ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS**
- A MSc degree in chemistry and similar disciplines
- Documented experience in organic synthesis, knowledge of main characterizations techniques such as thermal gravimetric analyses, NMR, UV-vis, DSC.
- Knowledge of Ionic liquids properties
- Ability to properly report, organize and publish research data
- Good command of spoken and written English
