- As our Junior Editorial Assistant, you will be part of a team in-charge of the daily Editorial Operational workflow of sport imagery, translations and governance of DAZN guidelines for metadata and asset management.

Always focusing on improving engagement, you will work with brand guidelines to produce high quality articles, picking the best imagery and using the best storylines to wisely merchandise our high-quality contents.

In this role, you’ll use your fluent written and verbal language skills, as well as your high-level sports knowledge to become a pivotal contact within our fast-paced and dynamic production and content hub. You’ll have the opportunity to work with a proactive team based in Milan (Cologno Monzese) and/or remotely and set the trend across other DAZN territories.

You must be able to work flexibly in line with live sporting events across a range of time zones. You will liaise with the Deputy Editor and Content Supervisor to manage the work time distribution.

**As our new Junior Editorial Assistant, you’ll have the opportunity to**:

- Plan based on the DAZN sports schedule to ensure all upcoming events are added to the tournament calendar using our third-party system
- Ensure that all available content is displayed on the site and is consistent with our editorial guidelines
- Work closely with our Central Content team to ensure all articles are produced and written on time and in our brand style
- Manage and source translations, tournaments and sports with local editors or translation companies, and ensure they are uploaded to our centrally managed database
- Coordinate imagery for all sports, tournaments and competitions and ensure they are produced to high quality and uploaded to a centrally managed location
- Ensure and enforce strict quality control checks on all imagery and editorial content. Feedback to the Central team to advise on best practice and maintain a consistent approach

**You’ll be set up for success if you have**:

- Experience in newsrooms or agencies, especially in a Sport environment
- Understanding and interest in a wide range of sports with high levels of sports knowledge
- Fluent written and verbal language skills in Italian and English
- Organized and efficient at maintaining documentation and systems. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with multiple teams at all levels.
- Good knowledge of Photoshop/Premiere or other video editing software
- Good understanding of production outputs and enough flexibility to deal with last minute graphics and video changes

**Even better if you have**:

- Understanding of live streaming, VOD and OTT platform
- Experience of managing or working with 3rd party partners and suppliers
