**Junior **Indirect Buyer**

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**
- Support the day-to-day activities necessary to purchase Indirect Materials, Services and Capex that meet the organization’s standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply;
- Support the analysis and negotiation of supplier bids, tenders, proposals or quotations with terms that are in the organization’s best interest;
- Prioritize projects according to potential savings (cost, value-added, etc.) and their feasibility over the short, medium, and long terms
- Communicate with vendors to negotiate terms and conditions, contracts and resolve problems with the timeliness and quality of supplies and services;
- Identify, research, and evaluate new possible suppliers that meet the organization’s standards of price, quality, timing and reliability of supply;
- Identify saving and improvement opportunities, possibly introducing new ways of thinking and approaches looking also at synergies within the Region;
- Enter orders for managerial approval and release;
- Collect Purchasing related data and provide management with operational reporting and analysis;

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Ability to write and communicate verbally in a professional/business manner both in Italian and in English;
- High work-ethics, discretion and confidentiality;
- Good fact-based negotiation skills;
- Hard-working attitude;
- Attitude and ability to work within an international and inter-functional team;
- Results oriented, strong problem-solving skills, good teamwork and cooperation attitude.

**Experience **required**

1-2 years’ experience as Indirect Purchaser in a similar position;
