We are looking for a transportation, trade & logistics specialist, based in San Giovanni Valdarno (Arezzo). In this role you will oversee transactional trade compliance activity, such as customs & export classification, sanctioned party list screening block release, Country of Origin determination, customs value, resolve holds, notifications and compliance alerts due to missing compliance data. Moreover you will ensuring local business activities are conducted in line with ABB Trade policies and guidelines, understand and translate the ABB global trade strategy at a local division/location level.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Your mail tasks will be:

- Create and maintain written procedures and guidelines for Local Division export, customs and sanctions compliance;
- Implement and maintain a general export control and customs compliance awareness program for local business staff and provide relevant training where needed;
- Provide oversight, policy advisory, and practical guidance to local business regarding export control and customs
- compliance, including archiving and specific Business Area operational requirements;
- Oversee transactional trade compliance activity and respond to global trade process-related queries from the business and functions; additionally, manage compliance for all specialization areas;
- Ensure local division records are maintained for a minimum of five years or longer if prescribed in national requirements;
- Support CTCO with local Trade Review and/or ‘self-audits’ of Local Division trade compliance;
- Notify CTCO and in-house legal of any suspected export violations or sensitive compliance matters;
- Collaborate with required business departments to ensure effective use of SAP GTS compliance and customs modules;
- Ensure all imported and exported products, software and technologies are properly classified with respect to relevant
- national and international regulations;
- Report to the BATM and CTCO best practices, issues, and Business trade compliance needs. Escalate areas of concern to the BATM and CTCO.

**Your background**:

- Knowledge of local, national and international customs, export controls and sanctions regulations;
- Good business mind-set with willingness to explore and take ownership of initiatives to drive effective compliance in the
- Business Area;
- Good knowledge of EU/international regulation of customs and export control;
- Good knowledge of English language. Italian is mandatory;
- You have a master degree in Law or similar fields.
- Complete the profile: teamworking, problem solving and proactivity.
