Job Summary

Main activities and responsibilities:
Reporting to the Foligno Product Engineering Manager, the Technical Product Designer is responsible for the engineering of the Studio's products (from the technical documentation to the creation of the prototype):

- autonomous design of components and support for the definition of production solutions
- technical documentation, executive drawings, product sheets
- creation of instructions supplied with the product.
- identification and drafting of the list of elements that make up the Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Management of suppliers for new product materials; collaboration with the Graffignana Technical Office and collaboration with Meda R&D.

Job holder requirements

**Required Skills**:

- Three-year degree in technical/management (management engineering/mechanical engineering/industrial design...) or technical high school diploma.
- Knowledge of materials processing technologies: wood, metals, polyurethanes, upholstery, fabrics and leathers.
- Knowledge and use of 2D and 3D design software (Solidworks, Rhino, Autocad )
- Good knowledge and use of Office packages
- Knowledge of management procedures for normal/special quotations
- Good knowledge and use of the English language
- Knowledge and use of Quality System procedures (ISO) - Available to travel frequently between northern and central Italy. In other offices, in Italy and abroad when necessary.
