Quality Analyst

**JOB OVERVIEW**:
TE Connectivity's Quality Assurance Teams manage an organization's Quality Management System, overseeing conformance and continuous improvement. They conduct systemic evaluations of products, services, facilities, and processes to ensure quality standards. Utilizing quality control statistics, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma tools, they develop and implement quality plans. The teams analyze and report quality discrepancies, investigate problems, conduct audits, and implement corrective actions. Collaborating closely with manufacturing, engineering, customers, and suppliers, they ensure compliance with requirements.

**RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES**:

- Processing of customer complaints according to 8D methodology and reporting and relative communication with the customer
- Root cause investigation/coordination using problem-solving tools (Ishikawa, 5 Why, 8D, is/is-not)
- Drive systematic problem-solving, action plans, read-across across and initiatives for customer complaints and Cost of Poor Quality Reduction
- Support during IATF 16949:2016 system audit and customer audits
- Monitor Complaint (external and internal) performances and relative Response on Time (quality KPIs)
- Drive the correct management of blocked stock
- Perform internal process audits
- Input for FMEA and owner for Control Plan and other quality documentation in case of new project, change management and complaints

**KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:

- Possession of a university degree or technical degree in engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience, particularly in manufacturing environments.
- Preferred experience in the automotive industry.
- Preferred experience in quality assurance.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001/IATF 16949:2016 standards would be advantageous.
- Strong communication skills, adaptability, persuasiveness, and effective teamwork, coupled with analytical and structured thinking.
- Proficient in problem-solving methodologies.
- Solid understanding of statistical principles.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data effectively.
- Capability to make data-driven decisions.
