Planning Buyer

**BELLCO, **now part of Medtronic in the Renal Care business, is a company, based in Mirandola (Modena - ITALY), leader in systems for hemodialysis and extracorporeal blood purification. Our therapies and systems are employed for the treatment of renal failure, multiple organ failure, sepsis and cardiac decompensation. We are focused on satisfying the needs of patients and experts through: Innovation, Research, Development of advanced Nephrology, Intensive Care and Cardiology Therapies.

**RESPONSABILITIES**:
In this role, you should have an analytical mind and a strong business acumen. Problem-solving skills, experience in purchase processes and attention to detail are essential.
- Analyze data to identify problems and suggest improvements.
- Plan and implement supply chain optimization projects.
- Develop requirements and standards (e.g. packaging, procurement, delivery).
- Support the presentation process for executive meetings.
- Discover the most cost-effective shipping modes and schedules.
- Help foster trusting relationships with business partners
- Collecting and analyzing supply chain data. Recommending improvements to boost performance and reduce costs.
- Conducting research on potential products, vendors, and services, and comparing price and quality to ensure the best deal.
- Updating all records of purchased products.
- Attending and contributing to meetings with staff and other stakeholders.

- Demonstrated capability to analyses business and technical requirements; and develop solutions to address the requirements.
- A team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must have a service-oriented attitude with excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

**Purchase**:

- Effective communication skills and experience with customer facing relationships for both project and sustain related functions
- Demonstrate knowledge in purchasing processes, automation of activities in SAP.
- Know the dynamics of urgency in the short-term purchasing process.
- Strong knowledge in excell, to assist in the dynamics of projects, comparative analysis, seeking improvements to continue.
- Demonstrated capability to analyses business and technical requirements; and develop solutions to address the requirements.
- Analysis of cost reduction opportunities.

**EDUCUTION & EXPERIENCE**
- Bachelor’s Degree required, Economist, administration, engineering.
- 3+ years of experience within Supply Chain (Production), Supply Planning scheduling
- Previous experience in a medical device industry, dialysis experience a plus
- Experience in Excel VBA, Macro.
- Very good level of English language knowledge
