As a Senior Account Manager, you will play a key role in the Glovo Expansion team in Italy. You will be directly responsible to develop your region by establishing, building and maintaining good relationships between our key partners and our company. You will be liaising with the most highly regarded brands, stores, and restaurants in your region and you will play a key role in coordinating the efforts of the organization to develop your region.
In coordination with the Expansion Sales team (managing the small partners deals) you will be in charge of establishing the content of each city while ensuring that each Glovo city has agreements with the top partners.
**Be a part of a team where you will**:
- Manage the entire sales process with new top partners to source and negotiate the best products to deliver to our customers in your cities
- Lead several Partners Operations Support people to ensure the adequate support and retention of our partners in Glovo's platform;
- Work hard with your team, helping and guiding them during difficult negotiations to close important deals and exclusivites with local chains and also local heroes
- Ensure that the team keeps the sales pipeline updated on a daily basis, while always maintaining great good vibes
- Identify the most trendy establishments in each city in categories such as restaurants, snacks, fashion, cosmetics, electronics, florists, you name it We are the everything app after all
- Support the Expansion Lead with key performance indicator analysis and by being proactive by identifying areas of improvement for us and our partners
- Meet monthly team objectives defined with the Expansion Lead with a main focus on partners performance, deals signed and exclusivities
**You have**:
- 2+ years of experience in account management and direct sales/new business development.
- Preferably experience in FMCG, food-hospitality or other fast-paced/high growth companies.
- Passion for data analysis
- Effective English written and communication skills.
- Intermediate level of Italian (mandatory). Fluent level of Italian (desired)
- You take accountability and are determined to get things done: no job is too big or too small
- Great interpersonal skills with the ability to convince and persuade. You don't take no for an answer.
- Organized and detail-oriented.
- Resourceful, problem solver, data-driven with an analytical approach
