Purchasing Intern

The person will be part of Arco Felice Plant joining the Procurement Team.

He/She, reporting to Procurement Plant Manager, will cooperate with the Team in the following tasks:
- Reviewing vendor proposals to ensure that they are complete and accurate per existing procedures- Preparing purchase orders for goods or services being purchased by the company- Communicating with vendors regarding order status, payment issues, delivery schedules, problems with shipping or quality of goods, etc.- Coordinating with other departments within the organization regarding the status of orders, including department heads, shipping companies, customer service representatives, and accounting staff- Keeping records of all transactions related to purchasing activities, including invoice numbers, dates of purchase, items purchased, prices paid, and terms of sale- Supporting the plant in managing the Snow task management respecting the current procedure- Matching purchase orders with invoices and other documentation to ensure that all purchases have been recorded correctly- Supporting the Plant Buyer optimizing the current process flows and procedures- Supporting the Plant Buyer developing a management system in order to simplify the validation vendor documentation gathering

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in economics or management with a focus on Business Administration

- Language: proficiency knowledge of English- Communication: He/She may be required to communicate with suppliers, managers and other procurement representatives. Effective communication can help to convey information clearly and answer questions.- Organization: He/She may be responsible for managing multiple projects at once. Organization skills can help to keep track of all the information you need to complete assigned tasks.- Attention to detail: He/She must be able to notice mistakes and inconsistencies in data and information to ensure that the company is receiving the correct products and services.- Problem-solving: He/She may be responsible for finding solutions to problems that arise during the procurement process. This could involve finding a new supplier or finding a way to work around potential delivery delays.- Negotiation: He/She may be responsible for negotiating with other departments to ensure that the company is receiving the correct items and in the correct quantities considering the right specs.
