**Role Description**

**Main Activities**
- Establishing a procedural framework for identifying, collecting, distributing and filing the controlled documents for the Project. This involves writing and maintaining document control procedures and participating in the development and roll-out of document control tools, computer software, etc.
- Proactively conduct “spot audits” and “over-the-shoulder-reviews” of Project Teams to facilitate their understanding of and enhance their compliance to Document Controls procedures
- Ensure the information and management control system is implemented in compliance with the standard applicable; and is updated to reflect revisions to those standards
- Maintain awareness of a new Project initiatives that may impact the control or distribution of information on the project
- Implements and directs documentation procedures in storing, updating, and distributing engineering documents, including blueprints, mechanical drawings, specification sheets, etc. Ensures that documents are stored in the correct version.
- Ensure that accurate information is distributed throughout the Company, on time, to the people who need it
- Use Company Data Management system to manage and maintain documentation registers
- Provide an interface to IT Support for Document Control issues, which include process enhancements to existing software, developing recommendations for new hardware and/or software that may benefit the Document Control environment. In general, identify trends and recommend “best practices.”
- Provide Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) audits of electronic or hardcopy Document Control files
- Manage the concurrent assembly of Life Time Records and manage Client LTR inspection demands
- Maintain a watchful and alert attitude toward Document Control

**Desired qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in a science on technical related field
- Fluent Italian and English
- 5+ years of work experience in supporting an engineering and construction project, preferably in the regulated industry, however a two-year technical degree augmented with courses and/or seminars in engineering change control, change requests, contract administration, project management, is acceptable.
- Mandatory knowledge of ISO9001 documentation control requirements.
- Mandatory knowledge of Data Management Systems
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite of software is required
- Preferentially qualified as an ISO9001 Auditor
- Previous experience managing a Document Control effort for a large-scale construction project is required.
