Key Responsibilities- Design and develop equipment and electronic devices for Valmet machinery for the Converting area- Design technical specifications of new machinery- Conduct engineering analyses using scientific principles to produce and interpret blueprints, drawings and technical specifications- Interface with other R&D areas, in order to solve any issue related to the machinery and offer improvement solutions- Coordinate with the design, development, production and customer service team to ensure activities are aligned and achieve delivery targets- Propose efficient solutions to process and product development- Plan and develop production processes according to customer needs- Develop and use new materials and technologies in line with technological and business advances- Perform machines tests at our Company plants, and if necessary at client facilities

To succeed in this role you should have- Master’s Degree in Electronic/Software/Automation/Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science or similar- Previous working experience in automation field will be appreciated- Knowledge of PLC programming and motion control (especially Siemens, Rockwell)- Knowledge of simulation tools (mainly MatLab, MatCad)- Good understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things- High proficiency with MS Office- Basic competences in reading hardware diagrams- Excellent knowledge of English and Italian- Strong analysis and problem solving skills- Team working- Organization and accuracy- Orientation towards innovation and achieving results
