**A Snapshot of Your Day**:
**As a **Strategic Buyer** you will be responsible for the procurement of materials and services for our production and Trento's factory necessity through planning and market analysis, ensuring the achievement of procurement targets. You will be in charge of the purchase of specific materials and of report preparation (calculation of team KPI and more).**:
**The main focus is on building and maintaining longterm supplier relationships. The site strategy is brought into line with central procurement strategies by the local Italian team. In the current phase of constant change in supply chains and disruptive events, the strategic buyers provide the vital stability. As a team member in one of the most successful plants in Siemens Energy, you will be directly involved in the pulse of innovation and, depending on your preference, contribute to digitization projects or the next generation ERP systems.**:
**How You’ll Make an Impact**:

- Develop and implement Commodity strategies to ensure long-term, cost-efficient supply of materials.
- Implement and handle supplier contractual agreements to meet the specific needs of the business whilst ensuring service continuity and risk mitigation
- Use a wide range of diplomacy strategy (CAO, E-auction, Global Value Sourcing, Advanced Negotiation Concept, Supplier Day, etc);
- Contributes to implementation and ensure usage of globally defined methods, processes, and systems to ensure high process efficiency and process compliance (e.g. compliant Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process, Procurement guidelines, IT systems).
- Performs Supplier Management processes (e.g. qualification, selection, evaluation, development, classification). Establishes accurate sourcing and Procurement processes and controls all Procurement resources and activities in the project.
- Use new IT tools in procurement, some of them based on IA.

**What You Bring**:

- Passionate and prepared to handle issues related to procurement topics;
- 3 to 5 years of experience within supply chain and handle global vendor, experience from the oil and gas industry is an advantage.
- Having excellent Italian & English communication skill is required;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP proficiency; Advanced Excel abilities (pivot tables, V-Lookup, macros, charting/graphing);
- Available to business trips (national and sometimes also international);
- A collaborative teammate, adaptable and seasoned cross functional communicator, with sharp critical thinking skills. Skilled influencer, possessing strong diplomacy, teamwork, & interpersonal skills and savvy;
- Good communication and relational skills, enthusiasm and passion;
- Strong orientation to reach the targets, initiative, autonomy and propensity to work in team
