The SHEQ Manager is responsible for the establishment, implementation, documentation & maintenance of the SHEQ management system which involves development and implementation of policies, processes, procedures and tools so that the required quality, safety, health and environment standards for the Company are met in all aspects of its business.

**What will be the scope of the role?**

The SHEQ manager ensures that the local business units (Product Company Abac, Turin Distribution Center Abac and Professional Air Division) are compliant with local/global regulations and legislation relevant to our business. This role is also responsible for setting up a framework ensuring that we meet our Sustainability Group Goals.

**Acting as a management representative for SHEQ will include to**:

- Implement Quality, Safety, Environmental and Energy standards, processes, and procedures based on Group / Business Area / Divisional requirements, industry standards and guidelines as well as customer requirements.
- Ensure that processes needed for the SHEQ management system are established, implemented and maintained. Review & establish system for **sustainability reporting** to achieve flawless reporting
- Develop, document, and communicate internal standards and measures of performance, including the review and revising of the Divisional entity’s Atlas Copco Management System (ACMS), Corrective and Preventive Actions, Internal Audits and Safety/Environmental/Energy Reviews, review of production processes.
- Provide strategies which address internal methods for **improving SHEQ performance**, productivity and reducing / eliminating product waste and customer complaints.
- Reporting to top management on the SHEQ’s performances and any need for improvement. Ensuring the promotion awareness of safety, environmental and energy saving culture throughout the organization.
- Develop and implement training programs, tools and techniques to enable others to achieve quality, safety, environmental and energy goals compliance. Assist internal and external audits required and follow up all findings and actions as needed to close them.
- Develop common initiatives such as training, campaigns and communication related to the **Sustainability strategy**.
- Atlas Copco has a strong focus on acquisitions and part of the role is also to participate in **due diligence activities **in acquisitions and support integration of acquired companies. Part of the role is also to obtain and maintain certifications and required registrations with ISO, EU, International regulatory agencies and Notified bodies. Guarantee implementation and documentation of Risk assessment and Corrective-Preventive Actions at company level according to the Law and Atlas Copco Group requirements.

**Experience and knowledge requirements**:

- 7-10 years of experience in a senior role
- Strong knowledge on ISO standards and audit process (ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO50001)
- Excellent knowledge in safety, health, environmental, energy, risk assessment, training and communication.
- Fluency in spoken and written English and Italian.
- Recognized Auditor certification could be a plus.
- RSPP (Italian PASS qualification) could be a plus.

Together with your direct team of local SHEQ, you will focus on the risk assessment and in the implementation of corrective and preventive actions at company level, according to the Law and Atlas Copco Group requirements.
