In order to strengthen our engineering team we are looking to hire a High Voltage Battery Testing Specialist, based in Maranello (Italy). In this position, you will support the Testing Project Leader in the development and management of electrical, mechanical and abuse tests on high voltage battery components according to internal testing standards (from cell level, module to the complete battery).

You will be responsible for the execution of a specific project testing campaing in Design or Process validation phase, and first level diagnosis of anomalies on the components.

You will work closely with the mechanical and electrical design team in order to report the test results and improve the component’s design.

As part of the team, you will responsible of:

- Execution of the validation and characterization plan together with the Design Team;
- First level anomalies diagnosis;
- Report to the rest of the company the validation plan status;
- Define and develop testing methodologies, procedures and measurement techniques;
- Define and develop the end-of-line, teardown and other internal procedures, for the specific project; Manage suppliers for the externalized tests.In order to succeed in this challenging role, you will ideally have achieved excellent academic results with a Master-degree in Electronic, Computer Science or Automation Engineering. And you will have gained at least 2 years’ dedicated experience on testing with high voltage batteries.

In Ferrari you must exhibit the capability to work in a highly-dynamic and fast-changing environment, thinking analytically, including attention to details and critical thinking ability. It is important to be proactive proposing new solutions to optimize all the processes and activities. INCA, Vector and Matlab/Simulink programming knowledge are mandatory to manage the activities.

Fluent English is required for the position and Italian language skills are an advantage. We appreciate individuals with experience outside their country of origin, allowing for a multicultural mindset.
