- Working as a Demand Planning Intern at Signify is dynamic. You‘ll be learning a lot about Demand Planning, Statistical Forecasting and about how a Global Supply Chain operates. We’re greater together through peer learning in our globally diverse team, with different backgrounds and nationalities.
- We’re looking for a Demand Planning Intern who’ll be responsible for assisting the Demand Planning team with day-to-day tasks focused on our Digital Solutions Division, the fastest-growing and most challenging part of global end-to-end business portfolio.
- You’ll be part of the Signify Demand Planning Team in Milan, Italy and its responsibilities are to provide accurate plans at material level for an 18-month planning horizon, so a can-do attitude, strong analytics and a thirst to learn must be in your DNA.
- What you’ll do
- Analyze past sales history and market data trends to understand main demand highlights and support new plans development on an 18-month rolling period.
- Optimize forecast accuracy and bias without compromising the inventory plan or our customer’s fill rate performance.
- Using our SAP toolset, contribute to maintain planning parameters and forecasting models by adjusting history and other demand stream maintenance activities to manage accurate planning and prevent slow-moving generation, all the while supporting sales and operational planning meetings.
- Understand Signify SC production and logistics processes in order to optimize demand planning activities in the market while interacting with Global SC and international teams.
- What you’ll need
- Engineering or Economics Degree, preferably in Supply Chain and very good fluency in English
- Strong analytics, problem solving, good organizational and presentation skills and an innate interest in learning while being able to work autonomously
- A process-based and cross-functional mindset with a teamwork-focused can-do attitude and a great passion for results
- The ability to manage your time and stress
- Any SAP and SAP APO DP experience will be a plus
