**Basic Function**:
Supervision, coordination and management of the activities/organization in Treviso and APS Ferrara entities.
Having the legal representation of the Company and represents the Company in front of: public administration, external entities, Unions, legal and others.
Responsible of proper professional behavior of the relevant human resources according with Company ethics, policies, procedure and code of conduct.

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Production’s business strategies development and execution in order to attain the goals of the board and shareholders.
- Business plans preparation and implementation to facilitate achievement by planning cost-effective operations and market development activities
- Ensure company policies, procedures and legal guidelines are communicated and implemented all the way from the top down in the company and those are followed at all times.
- Promote a healthy and safe work environment according with the HSE Manager
- Monitor performance and take appropriate action regarding skills and performance of staff in order to develop people
- Drive efficiency improvements and continuous improvement initiatives in the site (technical support, operations)
- Costs monitoring against budget. Responsible to monitor and assure that each area or function is line with budget, target and results
- Delegate responsibilities and supervise the work of executives providing guidance and motivation to drive maximum performance.
- Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth.
- Establish and manage site culture in which safety, environmental stewardship and operational excellence are the top priorities according with the HSE Manager.
- Assure the site is appropriately staffed with well-trained personnel to effectively and efficiently support the needs of the business.
- Manage the operational and business aspects of the site in compliance with corporate needs; provincial and local laws and regulations; applicable quality standards; and Responsible Care.
- Develop, implement and promote continuous improvement initiatives in site performance congruent with business priorities.
- Manage the development and control of annual operations and capital budgets for the site.
- Develop Site Key Performance Indicators and reporting capabilities that ensure financial results.

**Min. Qualifications**:
Master’s Degree in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering or Sciences

**Skills and Work Experience**:

- Skills and ability in managing resources and relationships with the others company departments, colleagues and external contacts such as customers and suppliers or external entities (tax office, court, legal etc)
- Develop an understanding of real and potential problems and identifying opportunities throughout the functions and the plant.
- Ability with informatics systems
- Ability to create and consolidate the local team, leading them, promoting collaboration and confidence between the functions.
- Be able to listen and understand the points of view of other functions and resolve issues where they might or might not exist.
- Need to be able motivate and develop the skills of the direct reports in order to increase the performance of the site.
- Need to have excellent and trustworthy communication skills, both oral and in written. (Italian and English)
- Minimum 10 years of manufacturing experience. Experience working in a multi-national company preferred.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as an operations manager of a large plant and/or site manager.
- Experience of international assignments and working in a multicultural environment.
