Full responsibility for manufacturing operations, providing leadership and coordination to meet sales growth and income objectives. In this position, you will get to:
- Plan for, organize, and manage the manufacturing operations activities in a manner, which will consistently satisfy the needs of our customers, stockholders, community and employees.
- Manage manufacturing P&L to maximize sales and profitability
- Responsible for all functions of the manufacturing business, including Manufacturing, , Materi als, Quality, Facilities, and Lean. Provides oversight and guidance to the Engineering, Finance, Human Resources S&OP and inside sales support.
- Develop and implement strategic and operational plans that support our “top-performing” business objectives in LEAN.
- Research, develop and implement operating policies and practices that fully support the business plans and objectives.
- Develop capital investment and human resource development strategies and plans to support short and long-range business plans.
- Administer and/or manage daily operations assuring that customer expectations are consistently satisfied, that products and services always meet the quality specifications and that all resources are fully utilized to provide a cost-effective product and service.
- Represent the company in community affairs with an emphasis on supporting local business growth, maintaining harmony and being a good corporate citizen.
- Assure that all qualified employees receive equal opportunity and consideration.
- Responsible for establishing and leading n V ent growth initiatives for the facility.
- Coordinate with the nVent sales organization to drive aggressive growth for the operations.
- Support the nVent sales force in selling manufacturing capabilities.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the market, competitors and target customers for the capabilities in the nVent markets.
- Develop strong relationships and credibility with customers, facilitating successful growth and profitability
- Develop strong relationships and credibility with peers in the nVent and Schroff organization. Aggressively pursue and implement intercompany projects.
- Assist in and coordinate all nVent program development and program management activity for CA facility
- Assist with the development of a sales forecast and income for operations
- Represent NVENT and the plant operations to customers in a highly professional and credible manner
