Overview:

From 2015, the Group in Italy has been one of the most active real estate players in the Italian market, acquiring a number of high street retail and office assets, also entering in the living and student housing market as well as the urban regenerations and last mile & traditional logistics, mainly in Milan, Florence and Bologna, totaling around €5 billion of assets under management. Hines Italy invests across the entire risk-return spectrum on behalf of various investment vehicles. Among the key projects in Italy: Porta Nuova, Cordusio 2.0, Torre Velasca, MilanoSesto and Ex Trotto area.

**Responsibilities**:
We are looking for a highly motivated intern to join Hines Italy’s Finance team in Milan who would support senior team members in administrative, controlling and corporate finance activities, with special focus on controlling activities of the main corporate entity (i.e., Hines Italy) and its subsidiary (Helm Italy Srl). Hines Italy is characterized by a young, dynamic and motivating job environment. The flat structure, entrepreneurial spirit and trust in young talents ensures fast career opportunities as well as new professional challenges every day. Relationship with European and Global Headquarter is daily. The firm organizes training courses both to London and US accessible to interns too. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Support Controller in administrating and controlling activities
- Support Controller in preparation and check of financial, accounting and treasury reporting to head quarter
- Support Controller in the preparation and analysis of actual and forecasted profit alongside preparation of KPI, gap analysis etc.
- Support the controller in all tax check and analysis

Qualifications:
Minimum requirements are:

- Studied or are studying towards a degree in Economics or Finance
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent command of English (particularly written)
- Good knowledge of Excel
- No prior real estate experience is required, however a strong interest in the field and willingness to learn are preferential
