Mechanical Design Engineer - Steam Turbines

**Job location : Florence**

**Tasks**:

- Modeling simple and complex turbomachinery components;
- Modeling simple and complex assemblies;
- Numerical simulations for validation and / or performance analysis purposes applied to turbine components;
- Development of drawings for manufacturing purposes

**Qualification Requirements**:

- Technical High School Degree or BSc Degree Mechanical / Energy / Aerospace Engineering
- Solid knowledge about 2D drafting and 3D modelling, and ability in using one or more CAD tools (i. e. Siemens NX knowledge would be advantageous)
- Knowledge of commercial tools for numerical analysis / simulation (i. e. ANSYS, Hyperworks, Abaqus etc)
- Any turbomachinery knowledge will be advantageous
- Commitment, precision, flexibility, reliability
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent team-work attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Availability for business travels (short & long term travels).
- Able to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment, meeting strict deadlines
