**This is what you will do**:
The Regional Account Manager will promote the usage of Alexion’s products, by divulging disease awareness and promotional materials on Alexion’s product amongst hospital physicians and pharmacists within his/her territory, in respect of the local regulations, company values and proceduresxxx

**Job Duties and responsabilities**:

- Act as “Informatore Scientifico del Farmaco” in accordance with Decree n. 219/2006 and its amendments
- Achieve sales and operational objectives in assigned territory
- Call on targeted health care professionals (physician and pharmacists) in his/ her territory in order to deliver product and disease related information in accordance with the Summary of Product Characteristic
- Establish and maintain quality and trustful contacts within the relevant medical community, opinion leaders. Organize group meetings in hospitals, using approved promotional material
- Timely and accurate feeding of the CRM system and submitting of managerial reports.
- Collect and communicate information related to pharmacovigilance cases according to national regulation and company procedures
- Elaborate and implement a territory annual Tactical Plan (targeting, MD development, actions)
- Support Marketing in its competitive landscape analysis
- Assist Customer Service on order management

**Essential Qualifications**
- 3 - 5 years’ experience of pharmaceutical hospital business, preferably in biotech/orphan drugs.
- Literate of computer / iPAD and reporting tools (ex. Concur, CRM, etc.)
- Knowledge of English
- Ability to travel within territory on a regular basis which will include overnight trips and occasionally week-end travel
- Science/Pharma degree as required by Decree n. 219/2006 and its amendments
- Knowledge of country pharma regulations
- Communication: Use of listening, communication and presentation skills to deliver clear, concise, compelling and timely messages, to drive audience interest and responses, fostering and reinforcing the free flow of information and open communication
- Collaboration: ability to work collaboratively across functions, matrixes and geographies, bridging the gap and being a team ambassadors
- Customer focus: ability to influence and build customer networks (internally and externally) in order to maintain access and drive business initiatives
- Selling skills: ability to plan and effectively communicate the value of the brand, listening to the customers and adapting calls for a successful outcome. Building continuity in the sales journey
- Territory Planning and execution: ability to be the business owner in the territory assigned, understanding the fundamentals of business and how the all “pieces” fit together

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience in Neurology would be appreciated
