Raw Material Center - Chemicals Portfolio Coordinator (Fixed-term contract)

**Technical lead to evaluate new formula raw materials and execute raw material qualifications to secure new product launches, and ensure optimization and reliability of Kenvue chemicals portfolio (cosmetic and OTC).**

**Responsible to lead connections with Product Development, Source, Quality, Product Resiliency and Supply Chain to ensure that strategic raw materials are selected for development stages, future launches and for new additions to chemical portfolio. Supports strategic activities that support the management of the Chemicals portfolio such as trainings to cross functional team, data management, optimization of preferred materials and technical assessments.**

**What will you do**

Key responsibilities:

- Overall understanding of Kenvue’s Chemical Portfolio and Suppliers
- Provide technical support, evaluating appropriate selection of raw materials for new product development
- Work with other global leads and functions to develop and manage raw material qualification, specification extensions and compliance requirements
- Point of contact for EMEA Product Development team to provide guidance on general raw material requests (material classification, restriction of usage, similar materials, supplier preference, process for Raw Material Center process and others)
- Work with global peers to ensure global standardized procedures
- Develop Global Change Control Plans and Deliverables and own Execution of the GCC
- Lead technical material equivalency analysis through technical data analysis or lab work
- Coordinate other business functions to evaluate the impact of the changes
- Coordinate and interact with various internal departments such as, Procurement, Analytical, IM/EM sites, QA, PD, Regulatory, Toxicology, Manufacturing Plants, Claims and Suppliers
- lab data statistical analysis and reporting (Minitab) for raw materials
- Prepare Technical Justifications
- Seek guidance from other team members and direct Manager as needed
- Manage project timelines

**Qualifications**:
**What we are looking for**

Required Qualifications
- Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmacy or related field is preferred
- 2/3+ years’ experience in R&D Reformulation and/or Product Development (cosmetic & OTC)
- Ability to work independently and in a global environment
- Fluent English
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong ability in term of Problem-solving, Complexity management and Decision-making authority
- Ability to collaborate with different areas (global cross functional teams, suppliers)
- Strong passion for science, technology, innovation and problem solving
- Working knowledge of Concerto, TRU, CAPRI, Symphony is preferred
