Aiming to strengthen our Transportation Department for an important project based in Italy, we are recruiting two profiles of

SYSTEM DESIGNER - INTERLOCKING SEGMENT
Job location:
Bologna area (Florence Quest National Head Offices or remote working as alternative options)

Role Overview
The selected resources - acting as part of an agile team aimed at giving a qualified support to the Engineering Dept. within a complex, structured environment with high pitched professional standards - willcontribute to the mission of ensuring the design of an interlocking technical solution based on our Customers design standards, which will fit the project needs in terms of Quality, Cost and Delivery.

**Responsibilities**:

- Capture project architectural requirements, internal and external interfaces, complexity of yard layouts environmental/climatic installation conditions of IXL system;
- Define components of IXL architecture composed by Central Interlocking Computer, Remote Area Controllers, HMI servers and Clients, design of the pre-fitted solution towards other subsystems/equipment;
- Support Installation and T&C teams during first installation of solution and its testing;

Background, qualifications and desired experience:

- Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or an Engineering Technology Degree with a minimum of 3 to 10 years' experience in Railway Signal Engineering or related field
- minimum 3 to 10 years' experience in Railway Signal Engineering or related field(IXL background would be preferential)
