**Context**

Exciting opportunity open within our Italian Technical **R&D Drug substance Global innovation team.**

In this role, you will develop your scientific and digital knowledge, you will be part of a innovation driven group of people with the mission to innovate the Drug substance process development.

The intern is expected to provide laboratory support for purification process and collect data to to generate a chromatography model.

Project intern description

The intern collaborate with scientific staff to implement, and interpret the data, using scientific data knowledge and experience to influence technical decisions, will have access to preparative chromatographic equipment and modelling software.

The intern will be trained to use laboratory and pilot scale chormatographic system and will be trained on the modelling software used for simulating the chromatographic process.

**Competencies the intern will develop thanks to the internship experience**:
At the end of the internship the intern will be able to use the chromatographic equipment independently and will develop a general understanding of Chromatography modelling.

Duration: 6 months

Start date: March 2023

- Master's Degree in Chemical/Industrial/Biomedical Engineering (preferred) or Chemistry
- Basic knowledge of Chromatography
- Basic knowledge of Modelling
- Advanced written and spoken knowledge of English.
- Good in Italian

- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment
